What already was an amazing and amazingly curated music blog has now become even better. Sitting conveniently in a unique position among web experiences, this is now a place for some comfortably curated viewing and listening pleasures. From some pretty exquisite tastes at that. I love all the little typographic details as well. Alot of heart and care has gone into this. So as time permits, or as your interactive experiences permit, have a look at the new YYY. Yes Yes Y’all!
‘Chorus’ is an array of motor-assisted pendulums which will be suspended from the roof of the Boiler House. Mounted on each of the pendulums are a light and a speaker. Together these pendulums form a single instrument that explores the relationship between performance, sculpture and installation. – uva.co.uk

This project is an attempt at bridging the geographic, temporal, and emotional distance between two people who live half a world apart: one participant is in Korea, the other in New York. Over the course of the show, their conversation will take residence in Project No. 8 in the form of two fax machines that will display feelings, declarations, and ideas in a common and public space. This setting allows them to have a disjointed dialogue that, due to an extreme time zone difference, happens simultaneously at night and day. Visitors to Project No.8 are encouraged to send their own faxes and join the conversation.
