David Hockney and his iPhone

I just saw this interesting article about how David Hockney has taken to a new medium, his iPhone. Over the last six months he’s been producing multiple drawings a day using the Brushes app (and only his thumb!). He then distributes them to about a dozen friends and doesn’t care what happens to them after that. Hockney assumes his works somehow make it out to the world, even if he doesn’t specifically release it. I hope so, cause I’m always up for some spontaneous thumb paintings from a master.
