What is a print?

My teacher showed me this pretty neat little interactive site he worked on for MoMA. A great example of animated info design, but also a totally decent primer for any graphic designers out there curious about all those charmingly archaic printmaking techniques. I mean archaic in totally the best sense of the word.

superb. reminds me of secondary school science class. they should put this on the curriculum!
it should be made into a little book, for all young graphic designers to be!
This site has been around so so so long! I am happy to see a site with such meaningful longevity. I believe it was done by The Chopping Block.
Another site with some good info on a photographic printing technique called Photogravure – http://photogravure.com/
Nice sarah. We should start a collection of these too. I’d like to perhaps dub this section, helping hands? What do you think?
sounds good by me
