WSDIA

Some seriously nice stuff coming out of WSDIA. I love their photographic sets and hand made everything. I think their studio title is very fitting actually. “We Should Do It All”

the dowel type for New Practices New York is simple astounding. I really like these guys motto and attitude. It doesn’t sound like overconfident self-dogma. : P

Nice work. I’ve been following them for some time. I like their updated site. My favorite exploration of theirs are the mini-models they made for Eastern Developments.

Very inspirational work. Its funny how nowadays, for works that could be classified as environmental/experiential, you have to question whether or not a piece was constructed by hand, or created digitally. I look at these and automatically deconstruct them in my head in attempts to figure out how I could have done this faster in C4D and Photoshop. Its refreshing to see people still doing things by hand, but the question then arises if its progressive at all.

Either way, good stuff. Seems like a fun shop to work at.

Agreed. I was actually blown away when i saw that that podium and set up for ADC was freaking miniature. Seriously. I thought they had rented a space, blasted it yellow and fired it up. Yeah, you bring up an interesting point Ryan. It is a toss up. I think there are somethings that are just impossible to achieve. Both in look and feel. But I think these days, 3D and photoshop have a certain feel that the handmade cannot approach too. But either way, agreed, really great work and I enjoy bringing some tactile back.
